Exceptional! Just 3 dishes amazed us big time. Very good vibe. Must try, some Portuguese fares are available (deliciously)
Bar Henrietta is a nook of security and kindness in an otherwise intense bar scene in Mile End. The food was excellent and the drinks were lovely. We had the gnocchi, piri piri chicken, ceviche, popcorn, and cookie. Highlights were the ceviche and cookie. the cucumber cocktail was amazing. the pilsner is simple and elegant. one of our waiters had great knowledge of the wine which was really nice to see. all the staff were chatty and lovely. great energy. afterwards we went to get a beer at Dieu du Ciel bar down the road and the energy was so bad we came STRAIGHT BACK TO BAR HENRIETTA. it is a staple, a miracle. a promised land.
One of my favourite places to dine at and have some drinks in Montreal! I love that the plates are small and great for sharing. They have some incredible raw fish dishes that are to die for! Especially the raw scallops they currently have on the menu 🤤 it’s mind blowing that they have yet to be featured on canadas best 100 restaurants!
Food and service were phenomenal. Definitely caters to a younger crowd that's down to yell over loud music (although the music was very good). Kudos to the waiters who somehow can hear your order - superpowers? Portions were small but perfect, no leftovers had to be brought home! Not a ton of places to sit, we arrived at 5:30 and all the proper booths etc were already full. We sat at a bar-like area spanning the middle of the space, cute and comfy but also crowded. Good wine list, we were all impressed with our choices.
One of my favorite Montréal spots so far! Super chic interior and all of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Great happy hour prices as well. I enjoyed the popcorn (life changing) and the kale caesar. highly recommend!
