Club Electric Avenue

We were looking for a place to go dancing as older adults. This worked for us. Started dancing at 10:30 to 70s and 80s music with good sized crowd.. We left at midnight. Expensive drinks and you can't sit down as you have to book the seating. $10 to check two coats. $13 cover. But we had lots of fun. Would go back..
I’ve been coming to Club Electric Avenue for a while because it used to be one of the best places to really feel the spirit of the 80s. The atmosphere, the music, and the crowd made it stand out from other clubs. Lately though, it’s honestly been disappointing to notice that there are far fewer actual 80s songs being played compared to before. A lot of people come specifically for the nostalgia and classic hits. the songs that made Electric Avenue unique in the first place. Recently, the playlists seem much more focused on newer 2000s remixes and modern dance tracks, and it takes away from the identity that made the club special. Hearing only a few 80s tracks during the night feels like a missed opportunity, especially when the crowd clearly reacts the most to the classics. The staff and vibe are still great, and the club has tons of potential, but I really hope they bring back more authentic 80s music. That’s what made people fall in love with the place originally, and it would make the experience much better again.
Great club Great vibes Every time I go to MTL it’s my go to dance spot Me & the girls have an amazing time! Highly recommend if you’re a millennial or Gen Z! ALSO.. great looking bouncer at entry, nicest guy :)
Awesome club with people in their 20s to their 60s which makes it awesome for all ages. Danny at the back bar is awesome as well, known him for 20 years!
