Absolutely excellent! My family and I stopped by for a quick lunch. We weren’t very hungry and were looking to support a nice authentic restaurant. We shared a few items. This Lebanese/Syrian restaurant was PHENOMENAL. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and have been raving about it to everyone we know. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Montreal. Hischam, our server was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and very courteous. He made the experience of dining here even more special! 10/10
We visited on the last day of our Montreal trip to have a Halal, luxury dining experience and this place did not disappoint. From the time we stepped in to when we left, everything was great. Our host was Hisham, very kind, pleasant and easy to communicate with. We ordered drinks and food that were served in about 30 minutes. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection, served with grilled green chilis that added the kick and the most amazing mushrooms I've ever had. Lamb shank was okay. Short ribs were perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. Drinks were refreshing, most cocktails can be served as mocktails. Also we requested for few substitutes that were comfortably provided. Baklava pancakes were a hit with everyone. Good food, great experience!
Went there for dinner and can honestly say i really enjoyed my time there. Food is delicious and elevated takes on Lebanese dishes and the drinks are great as well. Got a chance to sit outside on the patio, the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was excellent. Highly recommend and would love to go back and try other dishes from them.
This was our first dinner during our weeklong stay in Montréal. After a pretty late flight, I was glad a place as nice as Hayat was still open. My parents and I shared an amazing appetizer (some sort of pomegranate spread, not pictured), which turned out to be one of the best starters we ordered during our trip. We all enjoyed our dishes, as well as the shared dessert (baklava pancakes). The restaurant had a nice interior, but the exterior became somewhat rowdy as the evening progressed, and the service something to be desired. Overall, I would recommend Hayat!
Very pricey for the small plates but its clearly quality over quantity! Each plate was delicious and easy to share. Their backlava pancake was obviously the best !! The short rib was sooo tender you didnt even need a knife.. the staff was super friendly. We arrived and it wasnt too busy but as the night went on it got very popular! Nice spot in old Montreal. Worth the try! And I suggest to make reservations in advance if you can!
