This restaurant has such a warm Latin vibe! During our first visit to Montreal, we chose to have breakfast here, and we’re so glad we did. I have to say—they’re true artists. I ordered the avocado toast (honestly, the prettiest avocado toast I’ve ever seen! 😂), and my kids had pancakes that were not only delicious but beautifully presented as well. Every breakfast dish at our table was flavorful, fresh, and plated with so much care. The service was excellent, and the staff spoke both French and English. The combination of great food, beautiful presentation, and a welcoming atmosphere made this a memorable experience. When we come back to Montreal, we’ll definitely be having breakfast here again. Ohhh yes! 😍
TLDR; Excellent food quality, service and ambiance. Worth the wait (if any), don’t be fooled by the touristic area! Jade was a fantastic server, always timely and on point and asking the right questions and provided excellent service. Chef Felipe, mucho gracias! Him and his team fully knocked it out of the park, excellent ceviche, enchiladas, birria and drinks! Definitely will be back
This was a good decision among the many options along the Jacques-Cartier area. We were going along Rue Saint-Paul looking at art galleries, souvenir shops, restaurants and many more. Sabrosa caught my eye and I didn’t even check out the menu before asking for a table. We were seated quickly and the patio area was fairly packed already but we didn’t really feel that there was a wait to anything. I asked our server what she thought was a better choice between albacore tostada and salmon tiradito and she said that they’re both good but the Albacore is more filling for her (which was a great suggestion as she knew that my company and I was just sharing everything). Little did I know that in just a few minutes from ordering that I am going to be a fan of Albacore (slightly seared but raw for the most part) after having that fresh plate of goodness! Never had anything like this before so it was a first, I also want to note that I am not a fan of cherry tomatoes but this made me a believer! The fried chicken tacos were also amazing! It was a bit mouthful and messy to eat but who cares? I don’t! I will never forget how crispy the chicken was and the scrumptious sauce they drizzled on top of it! I am getting hungry just by re-living the experience in my head! Definitely a place I would go back to whenever I find myself in the area! Will be looking forward to try more of their offerings
My husband and I went to Montreal for our anniversary. We decided to try this restaurant one night for dinner. The ceviche i must say was the best I've ever had and I've had ceviche in Belize and several Carribean islands! We should have ordered two! Delicious!
I tried this restaurant on a whim and really enjoyed it. We were sitting on the terrace at first, but since there were too many bees, we moved indoors. We had the albacore tostada, birria tacos, and fish tacos—they were all delicious. There weren’t many people inside; on our side, we were the only ones. The staff were young and friendly. They also have a secret bar near the bathroom, which I’m definitely planning to try one day. There’s no dedicated parking—street parking is limited, and if you can’t find a spot, you’ll need to pay for a nearby parking lot.
