My partner and I tried Helena last night and enjoyed the 6 course tasting menu. I was in Portugal last summer and have been craving authentic Portuguese food, and this restaurant filled that void not Only was the food delicious, but the staff was also very helpful. The only reason I gave service a 4 to 5 is because at the beginning, we did have to wait quite some time for a server to take our order. The caldo verde tasted exactly like I was back in Portugal!
Here is my review about this place 1- Decoration 10/10 very nice place with space and modern with a touch of Portuguese vibe. 2- Ambiance 9/10 very nice ambiance not to loud.. good for party of 4 or 6 of for a romantic date. I don't think it's ideal for big party birthday more intimate. 3- food 10/10 very good food and taste. If your a fan of Portuguese this is the place to go. Mediterranean food and healthy. 4- Service 9/10 the service was very goid all of them knew there menu , the only thing is it was a bit confusing wich was our waiter/waitress. 5- cleanest 10/10 now this place was spotless even the restroom was clean and had scoop to rinse your mouth if you wanted. I definitely recommend coming here 👌 Look at the picture.
We had a fantastic night at Helena. The appetizers were incredibly generous and delicious, even better than my main course. The lively ambiance, despite being a bit loud, made for a great Thursday night experience. The friendly service added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend Helena!
Absolutely incredible experience! We opted for the tasting menu with the wine pairing, added a few extras, and it was flawless from start to finish. The menu was beautifully diverse, and every single dish was extremely delicious and stunningly presented. Two major highlights were the meat, which was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and the octopus, which was incredibly tender. The wine pairings were spot on and truly elevated the entire meal. While the total cost is a bit on the pricier side ($550 for 2), it is worth every single penny for the quality you get. I highly recommend this place!
Helena’s always the perfect choice while in Montréal. Exquisite cuisine, perfection service and quiet warm ambiance. We took the 7 services experience fish and seafood and once again i was delighted by the menu and the savors. Believe it or not the little plant is the entree made with a shrimp mousse and ink on top to mimic the earth! WoW
