This 1-hour guided tasting in Montreal’s Le Domaine des 15 Lots suits maple syrup enthusiasts and food lovers interested in Quebec’s maple traditions.
Description
The experience takes place in the shop's kitchen and begins with a hot drink. You will taste various maple products, including butter, sugar loaf, jelly, pastries, and maple syrups from both the local maple grove and partner producers. The guide explains the origins of maple syrup, stages of harvesting, its market, and culinary uses. You will also participate in making maple taffy on snow.
Note that this experience is conducted in French. For an English session, book the 1:00 PM slot.
