Got the jerk chicken plate, the meat is very tasty and tender. Accompanied by a fluffy and flavourful rice. The plantain was cooked to perfection!
Lloydie’s was phenomenal. I’ve had some interesting fusion Poutines in Montreal but the deliciously ripe and caramelises Plantains and the Jerk Sauce they had here was unbelievable. Loved that, loved the legume patty and their warm hospitality! A very unique culinary experience in the city.
Incredible food at usual! Just a lovely experience, fast and great quality and quantity for the price! I highly recommend any of their drinks, too. They are all very interesting, tasty and refreshing! This is probably my favorite restaurants in the area; I come all the way from Laval to eat this food! 😆 Note: I highly enjoy reading the responses to dumb "reviewers", keep it up! 😂
Incredible patties and an flavourful jerk chicken poutine. Both are full of flavour and the patty packs a bit of a spice punch. Both are well worth the effort to visit!
Generous portions in a laidback space. The oxtail plate was phenomenal - falls off the bone, aromatic rice, served hot on a cold day. The jerk chicken (not pictured) was perfectly smoky and not too spicy. The staff are incredibly kind. Lots of spacious seating with views of the Mile End streetscape.
