My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here during our visit. I ordered the Table d’hôte lunch, while my daughter chose a few items à la carte. Everything was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. A few dishes really stood out. I especially loved the butter sauce served with my daughter's trout, and the rhubarb custard dessert was fantastic. Rhubarb and flan are two of my favorite things, so it felt like that dessert was made just for me! Our server was excellent. Although she spoke limited English, she was gracious, patient, and able to answer all of our questions. We felt very well taken care of throughout the meal. One helpful tip for fellow English-speaking visitors: this restaurant is separate from the culinary school's student dining program. I misunderstood that before our visit and thought they were the same thing, so I wanted to mention it in case it helps someone else avoid the same confusion. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would happily return.
The restaurant has a very convivial atmosphere and attentive wait staff. We chose the tasting menu which had some excellent dishes such as the filet mignon and the cabbage and celery root salad. Both were very flavourful and used unique combinations. I was less enamoured with the amuse-gueule which was a corn and pea combination that was rather flat in flavour. However I have previously dined there in February when the dinner overall was delicious. It offers an excellent atmosphere and offers good value as well as some very tempting dishes. Great for dining with friends and family
Nice staff, very helpful and willingntonamwer questions. Food looks and tastes fantastic. Coffee was brought before dessert, which is a no no, but just this little glitch.
Very nice room, professional staff. Complex dishes with many components and ingredients but for me some of the ingredients did not work well together. The deserts in particular were semi sweet and awkward. The wine pairing was very nice as the selections went well with each dishs.
