The food was amazing and our server was very friendly and attentive. We came here because of the reviews and it did not disappoint. The ambience was great, very spacious and a good selection of food/drinks. Would 100% recommend and next time we are back in Montreal, we plan to be back.
I had a really enjoyable experience at Table 51 overall. The ambiance, vibe, and atmosphere were absolutely amazing — the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable and relaxed in. The waitress and staff were fantastic and made us feel genuinely welcomed and right at home from the moment we arrived. And the sangria… wow. Honestly, the sangria was amazing times a million — easily one of the highlights of the night. The food itself wasn’t the greatest compared to how strong the rest of the experience was, but the atmosphere, drinks, and service more than made up for it. Overall, still a really great spot to spend an evening in Montréal.
Atmosphere. Excellent. Modern yet cosy. Very clean and reasonable areas where there is some personal space and not overcrowding. Seating is comfortable, however our table was off balance and had to switch to avoid spilling. Service. Super friendly and knew the menu very well. Food. Delicious, good value for the quality, taste, and portion. So I hesitated to come here again as a while ago I didn’t care for Table 51. This time I was blown away. We started our meal wi Ty 3 starters thinking we shall see how we feel afterwards and then decide on a main or have another appetizer. Cesar salad. Fantastic! Perfect taste and texture to the dressing and properly dressed, not soaking in it with nice shavings of parm and delicious pieces of fresh chopped bacon - yummm. Lobster tacos. Wow, what a delicious blend of ingredients and a good portion of perfect toy cooked lobster with an accompanying sauce to dip in. I tasted it first without dipping and found the flavour lacking. I think the chef should add more flavour so the sauce is not needed. This being stated I then dipped in the sauce and found it to be delicious, but for me I would rather not have the extra calories and fat from the sauce and instead have had better flavouring from the tacos alone. Braised beef poutine. This dish is a drug!!!! This is the bomb. Whomever created this dish should receive the award for most tasty and creative alternative to a traditional poutine - poutine. Perfectly twice baked baby potatoes seasoned perfectly and crisp, then the juicy braised beef on top, and then the cheese laid on top of that, finished with a generous amount of gourmet poutine gravy that tasted home made. We could not stop eating this even and was the best dish of them all, not that the others were not good, only that this dish was beyond the exaction as it was “exceptional” point final! Desert. Crème Brûlé. One of the best I’ve ever had to enjoy. This was not a typical light and lose crème, this was more like a thickened pudding and it was perfectly creamy and balanced vanilla with crunchy Brûlé sugar on top. I decided to marry some of the delicious vanilla ice cream with a little of the Crème Brûlé, and let’s just say my mind was blown!!! Hello management - add the option to the Crème Brûlé to add vanilla ice cream as it’s incredible. Try it and you’ll see why you guys need to add this option to the menu. Add a dribble of caramel to the ice cream with the Crème Brûlé and it’s off the charts. So, do it again? You bet. And I think we may try more appetizers as the whole meal as we were stuffed and could not eat a main. We realized that it was a lot of fun to eat this way. Enjoy foodies.
This was my second time going to this restaurant. The food was amazing and so was the service! Top tier! Definitely going back. The Korean short rib is 10/10!
Stopped in at Table 51 after arriving late from a business trip on the way home from the airport. It’s a spot I frequent and it never disappoints. Always good, solid food, a nice vibe, and friendly service. We shared the bao buns to start, which were great. My boyfriend had the Asian salad and I had my favorite fashion salad, just as good as always. Consistently a go to for me
