Went to Amalia for brunch with a group of friends and honestly… wow. Everything was so good—from the food and drinks to the service and all the little details. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the experience. The owner was there and was incredibly hospitable. He came by our table, made us feel so welcome, and even brought us a round of shots, which was such a nice touch. And the French toast? Unreal. Genuinely one of the best I’ve had. It’s not often I leave a restaurant already planning my next visit, but I’ll definitely be back.

We had a great time at Amalia. The food was good, the cocktails too. The ambiance was good, more on the intimate side which we loved. The service was amazing. Our server Tony was efficient, attentive and super friendly. Will be back for sure!

Sat at thr bar, not very comfortable but the food was good, definitely a table next time. Nce presentation on the plates, espresso martini was excellent. Favorites have to be the beef tartar and the full fish. Nice wine selection and friendly staff.

Note: this is NOT an authentic Portuguese restaurant, it is an INSPIRED by Portuguese cuisine. First, the service was excellent. The ambience and decor was beautiful. Subtle music that adds a nice touch. The dishes were okay but not wow. The octopus was a little overcooked and had a “burnt” after taste. The lamb chops are small portions and unfortunately, over cooked. They came on a bed of purée sweet potatoes. The New York striploin was actually very good and very tender (medium). The cost for two people will run you about $100 per person. Overall the experience was 3.5/5

We went to Amalia on Valentine’s Day and had an amazing experience! The food and drinks were incredible, but the service truly made it outstanding. Tony and Xavier went above and beyond and made us feel so welcomed. Highly recommend — 11/10! We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to try their sister restaurant, Sel Noir.
