Bous is a beautiful addition to Montreal’s dining scene. The atmosphere and interior design are elegant, warm, and thoughtfully done, making the whole experience feel special from the moment you walk in. The presentation of each dish is stunning and refined, but what I appreciated most is that the food stays true to its Persian roots. It’s a modern interpretation of authentic Persian cuisine without losing the traditional flavors. The attention to detail, from the plating to the ambiance, really stands out. If you’re looking for a place that showcases Persian cuisine in a sophisticated yet authentic way, I would definitely recommend Bous.
This is a high class aesthetic Persian restaurant. The venue is beautiful and the food was outstanding. Parking will be a challenge but you can do a valet with 4 seasons. Service and food quality was top notch. A good number of vegetarian options were available too.
Insanely delicious food, great service, great ambience (although some plants would bring life to the decor). Beautiful presentation of every dish. Flavours are authentic and yet presented elegantly and refined. The best Persian food I’ve had in Canada for sure. There’s a lot of vegetarian options as alternative to the meat dishes too which makes it very convenient. Overall meat quality and flavours were fantastic and the alternative veggie options were arguably some of the tastiest vegetarian food I’ve tried anywhere in the world. Highly recommend and it unexpectedly became our favourite restaurant in town.

The stunning interior decor, beautifully sourced directly from Iran, adds a captivating and authentic depth to the upscale ambiance. It is the perfect setting for a special occasion or simply to treat yourself to an exceptional evening. The welcome is incredibly warm, with an attentive and highly professional staff who make you feel comfortable right from the very first moments. The evening started beautifully with the discovery of their original cocktail menu. The creations are bold, perfectly balanced, and bring a welcome touch of modernity that beautifully introduces the meal. For wine lovers, their selection is equally impressive, featuring a remarkably curated wine list composed of exceptional private imports that pair beautifully with the complex flavors of the menu. As for the food, Persian cuisine is truly elevated to an art form here. The dishes are as beautiful to look at as they are delicious to taste. Special mention goes to the texture of the bread, the refinement of the eggplant and yogurt appetizers—subtly enhanced with herbs—and the must-try crispy rice, a masterpiece of culinary mastery. The chicken skewers and slow-cooked meats (like the lamb, which was absolutely tender) are remarkably well-executed, rich in flavor without ever being heavy. To finish, the traditional desserts bring a floral, refreshing, and incredibly delicate note. In short, Bous is a must-visit address if you are looking for a refined Persian table, impeccable service, an outstanding private import wine selection, and a sophisticated, visually breathtaking environment. A memorable experience that I recommend without a shadow of a doubt!
This is definitely my new favourite restaurant in Montreal. If you’re looking for a luxury dining experience and love Persian food, you need to come here. I was trying to book a reservation for my anniversary this weekend, but everything was fully booked because of F1. Thankfully, Andrew, the manager, was able to get me a table for Saturday, and from the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. The owner even sat down beside me to congratulate my boyfriend and me on our anniversary, which made the experience feel so personal and special. The food was incredible, and they brought us Persian-inspired mocktails that were amazing. The décor makes you feel like you’re dining inside a museum. I definitely recommend Bous, and I’ll absolutely be coming back very soon with my maman joon.
