Buboy is easily one of the best restaurants for authentic Filipino food. Every dish is full of rich, comforting flavors that showcase the diverse culinary traditions of the Philippines. From savory classics to delicious grilled specialties, you can taste the passion and quality in every bite. If you're looking to experience food inspired by the beautiful Philippines and its vibrant culture, Buboy is a must-visit. Great food, friendly service, and a welcoming ambiance — I highly recommended to try the pancit canton and leche flan with ube.

We’re rooting for this place because the menu and concept have a lot of potential. The flavours were genuinely great, but the service and overall dining experience left us a bit disappointed. Service-wise, it would really help if the process was explained more clearly when customers arrive. For example, that you pay first, seat yourself, and grab your own utensils. We felt a little unsure throughout the experience. When our food arrived, we also didn’t receive water or utensils, which added to the confusion. For the food itself, the flavours were excellent, but the portion sizes felt inconsistent for the pricing. The $4 rice portion was nearly the same size as the $16 pancit, and the sisig portion was much smaller than expected based on photos from other reviews. We finished it in just a few bites. We also later noticed that the menu on Uber Eats mention garlic rice included with the sisig, but we were charged extra for it. It was $65 for 2 people after tip, and left still a but hungry. Hoping they continue improving because there’s definitely something special here and we’d love to see them succeed!

Bulalo and lechon and sisig! This place is yum. Ask for the homade banana vinegar. Would buy merch if the had. Can't wait to try other menu items! For a small mall kiosk it packs a big punch.

I finally visited Buboy, a Filipino restaurant that gives a twist to classic Filipino dishes. I ordered the crispy kare-kare and crab rangoon. The presentation was not as appetizing as what I saw on their IG, but the taste made up for it. It was really good. When they say crispy, it is truly crispy. The crab rangoon was a standout and something I would order again. Also, shoutout to the staff who served my food. She was very nice and welcoming. I felt a bit guilty for not smiling back when she smiled at me. Great service overall.

We appreciated the attentive service and professionalism of your staff during our recent visit to Montreal. We're puzzled that the online reviews don't accurately reflect the restaurant's actual location, which is within a small corner space of a larger building. Unfortunately, the food we tried didn't live up to the standards suggested by the reviews. Although the Filipino dishes did have an authentic taste, our overall experience was marred by concerns over sanitation and the ambiance of the premises. We hope you can use this feedback to improve and align the experience with your online presence. 😩😑🫣
