Yummy food. We just walked by n saw this store n needed a snack.XLB soooo good. Super impressed that they “reimburse 100% of ATM transaction fees”.
Really good veggie dumplings, but they wouldn’t let me have four of each of the four veggie varieties, so I had to get 15 of one of them, which isn’t as fun. Also, he says “cash only” once or twice to each customer, which is annoying. A clear sign at the entrance would go a long way.
If you're visiting Montreal, make sure you leave time to come to Chinatown! Fried dumplings here are amazing and they don't use MSG, which is always great to see! We were seated quickly and service was quick with water on the table and menus. Food was great, but remember, this place is cash only! And they even refund the ATM fee, which is so nice of them!
We had the pork and chive dumplings and the beef and onion dumplings, and an order of hot and sour soup. The dumplings were scrumptious. The hot and sour soup was delicious. Just what we needed after a kind of cold day. Highly recommend it. Our server was helpful and kind and generous.
Chose this spot for the logo..so cute! Ordered with our eyes but allowed us to taste a few different kinds of dumplings along with spring rolls and shrimps. When ordering, there was an option of 8 or 15 dumplings for a specific kind. He did not ask me how many and decided to give us 15. We were 2 people, and that was clearly too much but he took it on himself to give us 15. Didn't really like that and wasted them. Otherwise, the server was nice. It's a small place, a bit cluttered. Cash only so make sure you have cash. They do have an atm but you know how those fees are... Overall, yummy and decent pricing.
