Friendly service. Nice atmosphere but little ventilation. Porchetta and kefta were pretty good. Fried eggplant was delicious, reminded me of eggplant parmigiana a little. The zucchini blossom just two big zucchini split in two and lightly seasoned, which was very basic, not what you'd expect from that description, and even the fiddleheads couldn't make it interesting.

I had an amazing dinner with friends at Papito. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The restaurant sources its vegetables from a local organic farm, and you can really taste the difference—the ingredients are incredibly fresh and flavorful. The restaurant can get a bit loud, but it’s still very tolerable and doesn’t take away from the experience. I absolutely love this place and will definitely be back for more!

We arrived at Papito right when they opened so we had the space almost entirely to ourselves and we absolutely loved our dining experience here. Definitely our favorite restaurant in Montreal so far! The prime rib was perfectly cooked and tender, amazingly flavourful, and all the vegetables were super tasty. The ambiance is very lively, and their playlist was 10/10, super nice vibe to come with friends or family. Our servers were all very friendly and made our experience very memorable! Will be coming back when we return to Montreal

Unfortunately, this place falls short in many ways. 1. Their attempt at a minimalist menu only creates confusion as to how an item is prepared and what the portions are like, which puts more burden on the waiters to answer more questions. Some items are already market price. This makes choosing items take longer and waiters are held at tables for longer, causing service to run even slower. 2. Service was very slow. Half of our order came fairly quickly, the other half took almost an hour after to arrive. This made the sharing experience very lackluster. While clearing our tables, our waiter also tried to take away our sauces that WE PAY FOR when our meats hadn't even arrived and also never gave us new napkins. 3. The flower arrangements and lighting are pleasant to the vibes, the music is unbearingly loud and the industrial building causes sound to travel everywhere. Our party had to step outside several times for a breather because it was simply too much, and we could not hear each other very well let alone the waitress when she would ask us questions. Another important note I'd like to add for women: we struggled keeping our purses on the chairs. Waiters would bump into them and never pick them up. This is not very pleasant when you have expensive purses. One of our friends became increasingly frustrated with this. We're not sure if that's what they were designed for, but we eventually placed our purses on the wooden stand by our feet. 4. I'm not sure if I perhaps misread the dessert selection, but we ordered 2 flans and were incredibly disappointed by them. Neither of us finished it as we dislike cheesecake and the flan was more of a queso flan so the cream cheese taste was not what we expected. Items are very expensive for what they are. We paid 500$ and left this place unsatisfied. I will not be coming back.

Food was MOSTLY very good, we weren't as happy about the most expensive cut we ordered, the ribeye which had a lot of fat on it. I'm not paying for fat, so that wasn't appreciated. Service was fine, not stellar. Took a while for our waitress to attend to us, but she was kind. One of us ordered a martini and it came in a standard glass, and he wasn't too thrilled about that. Not trying to be picky, just sharing our experience. Also, the lamb merguez was our least favorite. Just a fatty sausage with a very strong flavor. If you like that type of meat, have at it if course. Last comment, the sign for the restaurant is practically invisible. It just looks like a building with a door. In case you're struggling to find it and you're looking right at it and doubting yourself. 😂
