Ok so I’m a bit disappointed in the service I received. I asked if there’s any dairy products in the piña colada. Our waitress answered « yes of course! » and I said oh that’s weird they are usually vegan. And she said that it is not vegan cause there’s coconut milk…. I then asked her if she could make sure there’s no cow product. She came back and said they cannot know because they make the mix at the Sainte-Catherine location. I ended up calling myself, and they confirmed me that there is not animal or dairy products in it as long as I ask without whipped cream. I had ordered another drink in the meantime but when she came back with it, I mentioned that I called, that it is vegan and so I would prefer my first choice, a piña colada ! She then took the mojito she brought instead of giving it to me for free (they probably threw it out), and I ended up having my piña. There was then a mistake on the bill and I was charged with the first more expensive drink. That was it, I asked to see the manager, told him everything and they only offered a dessert, but we just wanted to leave. So they didn’t do anything nice to compensate us. Very disappointing. Staff should be trained better than that and have access to a list of ingredients for everything at all times.
Looking for a good Mexican place on Saint Denis as it was close to our hotel and we have been eating there our whole time in Montreal. This place had good reviews and didnt disappoint us. Got in right away and the atmosphere was small and quaint. I ordered the chicken tacos soft shell which came with a little salad, rice and refried beans. Great portion size and tasted great. My wife had the 3 Amigos Taco salad with chicken and she said it was very fresh with a yummy dill dressing that came on the side so she could add as little or as much as she wanted. I believe she said "best taco salad I've ever had" . Service was friendly and our food came to our table so fast the waiter scared me as I did not expect it to be ours. We would highly recommend this place if you get a chance.
Waiter extremely rude, made us wait 30 times before to take our orders, and was extremely grumpy. Upon us asking other Tacos, he rudely asked if we had enough money to pay for it. Drinks were good. Clearly they need to train their employees as that behavior will only push clients far. Don't go. Many other options with more cordial staff around.
We had an amazing experience at 3 Amigos! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the service was outstanding — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Every dish we tried was delicious and packed with flavor. We truly enjoyed everything and will definitely be coming back again!
