Google Review We had an excellent evening at Le Serpent in Montreal. From start to finish, everything was outstanding. We were served by Mia, who was incredibly nice, kind, charming, and always smiling. She had a wonderful attitude and treated us exceptionally well throughout the evening. She was patient, explained the wines very well, and took the time to explain each dish to us, which really helped us make the right choices. The service was excellent. The food arrived very quickly and at a perfect pace, while still allowing us to take our time and enjoy the evening. Everything was brought out together and the timing was very well managed. As for the food, everything we ordered was excellent. We started with the zucchini flowers, oysters, and foie gras. For our mains, we had the bison with spanakopita, the lobster risotto, and the spicy spaghetti. For dessert, we had the tarte à la pêche, the parfait au chocolat, and the ricotta with strawberry and raspberry. Every single dish was delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, both for the food and the service. A special thank you to Mia for making our evening even more enjoyable. We would most definitely come back and highly recommend Le Serpent.
Le Serpent is a gem inside of an industrial shell of a building. Beautifully lit interior with lots of natural light, Le Serpent shimmers. The space is clean, hip and buzzing. The service is top notch. Every server is attentive without being over bearing. You get a true sense that everyone is attuned to your dining experience. Lastly, the food. Wow. Italian Mediterranean Fusion. Light. Fresh. Sometimes subtle. Sometimes blossoming with rich flavours. I cannot say enough about the brilliant artistry, care and creativity of their menu offerings. 5 x 🍝 🍝 🍝 🍝 🍝
Our bartender, Vicky, gave us wonderful suggestions for our appetizers and entrees. We had the Foie Gras-it was so good, we ordered another! Dinner was the Buccatini pasta and lobster risotto! Both were fabulous!
Went here for a business dinner. Place has a cool vibe although I don’t think the AC was working the night we dined. It was a bit humid. We ordered a few apps to share and I ordered the veal as my main dish. I really enjoyed the veal dish as it was prepared in 2 ways and had many components that balanced each other well. The pasta dishes were good but nothing that blew me away. My favourite appetizers were the mushroom tart and the lamb tartare so would recommend those. The crudo was good but found some of the toppings overpowering such as the orange on the branzino. The desserts were very good! Would recommend the lemon ricotta dessert! The play on textures and freshness of the lemon was great. Overall great dining experience but for the price, dunno if it’ll be a repeat customer.
Absolutely incredible experience. Food was delicious. Staff was great. Beautiful venue and ambiance. Our waitress was very excited to tell us about their specials which made us excited to try them and she was right. Her recommendations were delicious. She also brought us a side table for our sparkling water which we thought was such a nice touch.
