Fantastic spot for brunch. Recommend making a reservation beforehand and if the weather is nice sit on the patio outside. I had the platter which had an assortment of meats with eggs and potatoes, a slice of sourdough bread, and salad. My wife had the smoked salmon bagel which also came with salad and potatoes and was delicious. The coffee and pistachio matcha latte were also very good.

Always so good. Highly recommend going for the brunch (especially the Cabane a Sucre brunch Feb-May). If you can, brunch on a Friday is very pleasant as it's not super busy. They're menu for Montreal en Lumières is also always a hit. It's a no-brainer if you have friends and family visiting from out of town/province for fun, good local cuisine.

The Cabane a Sucre menu is crazy good! I have never tasted better waffles and the sausage and ham melt in your mouth. Good portions which won't make you hate your self.

The food is inspired, original and delicious. New menu every season but so far 10/10 for 5 seasons in a row. Small menu, but everything is made with thought and love. Also, the prices are extremely reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chef. Un restaurant incontournable de Montréal.

We went for a dinner birthday with family and kids and it was ok. The waitress was nice and cordial however the service between entries and main dish took very long, despite the restaurant was empty. They are ok with kids and have high chairs and colors but there is no kids menu, they just say they can give you any dish half which is not the “best” option. The entries were ok, we had some onion soup, arancinis and the wild seal (kind of a tataki). This last one was the less favourite, the color, texture and flavour wasn’t the greatest. We order a lot of burgers and the were nice. The quenelles were good but the think cheddar cheese made it more heavy. Coments regarding the salmon and the ribs they said were delicious. For drinks, the beer were so much better than the peach pineapple cider. The last one didn’t taste at all. Finally dessert was great, kids got ice cream and we shared chocolate and a winter scene. What we appreciate the most was the atmosphere that was quiet and no loud music, however is not a kids/family restaurant at least for dinner.
