Sashimi premium aged: 4 stars. Fresh. Nigiri: Our server Mathieu recommends three kinds of nigiri for us. All of them are excellent. We will come back because of Nigiri. Maki: 1. Hidden fish maki is excellent for my husband, but I feel a bit greasy because of the foie gra. If you like foie gra, this is the best for you. 2. End with Maki Oishii is fresh. It comes with vege, salmon and wrapped with rice paper. Its seasoning is delicious.
My husband and I came here to celebrate his 40th birthday. Our server, Mila, was wonderful is helping guide us through the menu, pouring our drinks, offering suggestions, and taking away our plates before our next dish came out. This is the best sushi we have had by far. The freshness of each plate combined with the vegetables to enhance the sauces, the glazes, or to help cleanse the palate; the plating was gorgeous. If you ever want to have great sushi and splurge for a special occasion, Hidden Fish is a great option. We'll be returning again.
I had an amazing experience at Hidden Fish in Montreal. This place is truly a hidden gem! The sushi was the best I’ve ever had—everything tasted incredibly fresh and absolutely bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was great, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy high-quality food. A special shoutout to our waiter, Rudy, who was friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout the meal. His service really elevated the whole experience. I would highly recommend Hidden Fish to anyone looking for outstanding sushi in Montreal. I’ll definitely be coming back!
An absolute must try for anyone looking to experience incredible fine dining sushi from start to finish! We’ve come multiple times already and can NOT recommend this establishment enough to all of our friends and family! Food is indescribable and melt in your mouth. Rey served us and suggested dishes that were out of this world: the salmon noodles, crab salad, premium selection of sashimi and our absolute fave, Nobunaga. All the best to the team of Hidden Fish for their amazing service! Can’t wait to keep coming back again and again!
I came here twice. Amazing sushi and beautifully presented dishes. The pieces are slightly on the smaller side, but the flavor is absolutely perfect. The nigiri was definitely the highlight for me, a must-have if you’re visiting! The ambience and decor are beautiful as well. You can really see the care and precision in the cuts and the details of each piece. It is on the higher end price-wise, but worth it for the quality. I would personally skip the crab appetizer next time simply because it didn’t wow me like the sushi did. Overall, such a great experience and I’ll definitely keep coming back!
