Food was great! Drinks were great! Service, however, was incredibly slow considering it wasn’t full on a Thurs night… too much wait time in between service.
Great tasting menu experience, and Vincent behind the bar was fantastic! I normally don’t like scallops or tomatoes, but they were prepared very well and I actually enjoyed them. The wine pairings were great - some very unique wines, especially the one paired with the gnocchi. The timing of the first two courses was a little slow to the point I had almost finished my glass of wine before the scallops came, but after the first couple of courses the pace was much more reasonable and I ended up really enjoying it! I really appreciated the descriptions of everything, and all the tiny details and unique flavours. I would definitely come back, especially to try all the seasonal changes to the menu!
Where do I even begin to describe the incredible experience we had at Restaurant Hélicoptère recently? From start to finish every single person at the restaurant was kind, engaging, knowledgable about food and wine, and just delivered 15/10 service. We had a group with a few dietary restrictions that we commented well in advance and the team both back of house and front of house delivered quality, innovative, and incredible delicious food. I had the vegetarian tasting menu with a wine pairing and enjoyed the seasonal and fresh ingredients. The cost for quality, portion size, and wine was very fair. Thanks to everyone for making my friend's 40th birthday dinner so special.
I have been here twice which two different menus and I literally leave so full and so impressed with the knowledge of the servers, the art of the food and the overall atmosphere. Wine pairings are superb. Their tasting menu is very well thought out. I cannot recommend this place enough
Amazing restaurant! Super tasty drinks, delicious food. Bartender Isaac is super cool guy, giving tourist like me more recommendations for Montreal. Staff has good taste in music playlist for restaurant
