Had a steak dinner with my father and brother. We were well taken care of by our waiter Andy (of course everyone played their part) . He served us with a high quality standard. The atmosphere was really chill the drinks were great (we had piña coladas and mojitos). The chill jazz music made the atmosphere mellow. We had an amazing experience. Will definately revisit. I highly recommend coming here for a nice dinner and(or) drinks.
I went to the Terrasse 419 with a group and we ordered tartare as an entree, and then the Surf and Turf that came with a huge Tomahawk steak that was smoked and carved up with great panache by our waiter, Idriss, who also flambeed the varied surf platter. Wonderful to watch and the meat was perfect! Everything was delicious. We had to make room for the desserts even if we were full and I’m glad we did. Yum! Especially the lemon pie! Great Old Montreal experience. Highly recommended!

The portion was good and the flavour was solid, though not particularly standout. Service was average — nothing negative, but nothing exceptional either. Staff were polite, but the pacing and attentiveness could have been a bit sharper. Overall, Terrasse Le 419 offers a pleasant setting and a decent meal, especially if you’re in the Vieux‑Port area and want a simple, relaxed dining experience.
