Jatoba was excellent, from the service to the food everything was held to high standards. We started off with the Sashimi Platter and the Crispy Salmon Rice Cakes which are some the chef’s specialty dishes. These were extremely fresh and delicious. The drinks were very well crafted, nothing beats a crisp cocktail from a mixologist who knows how to pair flavours. For the sushi, we had the lobster roll which was my favourite (I would have preferred it to not have asparagus as it paired well but in my opinion I could do without), the torched salmon nigiri was solid and the Bluefin Tuna maki just melts in your mouth from how buttery and fresh the tuna is. We finished off with the tuna tartare cones which had a delicious soy emulsion. As for the dessert we had the caramel marshmallow plate and it was so delicious! This place overall was fantastic, the owner Manolo really knows how to take care of his clients. The sommelier was very helpful during our dinner, the staff always came to clean the table and check up on us and they really go above and beyond for their guests.
Beautiful atmosphere and experience. Food was excellent, lots of new flavours! Scallops were expensive but worth it. Hope to come back and try more from their menu once our wallets recover.
Had a great experience here. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the food was excellent and felt worth it for the quality. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel special. We had a really fun time overall. Would have loved to be seated in the terrace.
I was there for lunch with a group. I had the miso soup and sashimi lunch express. The sashimi isn't served the traditional Japanese way with wasabi, and yet the ginger and the sauce made it very delicious. The side salad of kohlrabi was super fresh and it had such a nice crunch. The mocktail aloha jatoba is a nice drink if you like fruity taste. The restaurant has beautiful decor and excellent service. There's a complimentary coat room at the reception. An excellent idea for winter!
High quality ingredients, good culinary execution, ok service, beautiful location. We had an enjoyable dinner and tried a decent selection of menu items. The personal favorite: the lemongrass and coconut soup; and the gyoza. The service was not flawless, as we had to order our drinks twice, and we were served food but some silverware was missing. Pricewise: it’s on the very high end (overpriced, in my opinion). All in all, I’d come back
