The food was absolutely incredible, the grilled corn bread was the best I've ever had, 11/10. Even got to try Alligator bites! The dino ribs are insane and the garlic mash was also impressive. Couldn't recommend a better restaurant. Jake was super cool and had great banter, ask him about his favorite joke!
Last time I was here, that was ages ago. I am delighted to find one of our rare Cajun-Creole southern cuisine's restaurants, Restaurant La Louisiane in top form (that same excellent service, that same well kept interior, that same great soul of yesterday and always), ages later. I told my waitress and waiter (two world class professionals of the industry, BTW) that Restaurant La Louisiane is aging really well and I mean it. A coup de Coeur, ages ago. A coup de Coeur today as well!
A great place for authentic Cajun dining. Nice outdoor and indoor seating. The menu is pretty extensive including starters. I really enjoyed the coconut shrimp to start. The bartender is excellent and masterful with drinks. The blackened fish of the day was cod and quite excellent. The desserts are very good with the pecan pie being solid yet well done. The server was exceptional so kudos to her for helping out with honest assessments and also navigating a severe storm that brought outside diners inside. Would recommend this place especially if you enjoy Cajun type dining.
Absolutely loved my experience at Luisianna’s! 🦞 The lobster bisque was incredibly rich and flavorful, and the oysters were exceptionally fresh — definitely some of the best I’ve had in Montreal. The live jazz ambiance truly brings you into another world. The music, atmosphere, and overall vibe make this place feel so elegant and warm at the same time. 🎷🤍 A special mention to Annabelle, who was absolutely amazing throughout the evening …. so attentive, kind, and welcoming. She truly made the experience even more memorable! ✨ Such an amazing spot for a birthday dinner or a special night out. A beautiful addition to the Montreal ambiance and restaurant scene. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🌸
