We visited this restaurant while we stayed in Montreal for a few days and I can tell you that it lived up to the expectations. Friendly staff and amazing food. I had the smoked meat sandwich with the chocolate bomb brownie. Not much to say expect that I like food and everything sounds yummy.
We went there today and the food was excellent. The poutine was especially delicious and definitely our favorite. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’d happily come back and highly recommend this place!
First time at Reuben’s. They serve a very generous portion of food for the price. Presentation is nice. However, the actual food was lacking flavour (I got the Combo platter - chicken wings, half potatoes stuffed with cheese, cheese sticks, onion rings). Cheese was stiff (not melted at all) and cold. Chicken wings were meh. The onion rings were good. The service was exceptional. We had Asher as our server. Friendly, attentive, and made suitable suggestions based on specific desires. Atmosphere was also enjoyable. Each table was spaced apart nicely, chairs were comfortable, lighting and decor created a cozy ambience.
Smoked Up!! @ Reuben's. Had to get my smoked meat fix. Okay I know the purists will hate me for putting Mayo on smoke meat, but that is my thing. Nice fatty cuts just melt on my mouth. Coleslaw had the right sweet to tang ratio. The pickles were amazing.
The restaurant has great ambience. The serving staff are amazing. The food is good. The vegetarian options are not so good. The fried stuff is very greasy.
