My friend and I stopped in for a quick drink and snack before our train ride and from the jump Larbi at the steps was a delight and helped us with our bags and was absolutely the sweetest. We ended up at the bar with Vanessa who not only brought the vibes but also had amazing drink suggestions with the friendliest attitude. She definitely made our entire experience and was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. A 10/10 sweetheart and would definitely come back again.
We had a wonderful lunch while enjoying the beautiful, relaxing view. The food was amazing, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. I would definitely recommend the hamburger and the tiramisu—they were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. I would happily come back again.
My friend and I went for drinks and a bite to eat on Friday, July 10 At 4:30 PM. Our server, Catherine was being very pushy for us to order food from the beginning, but we wanted to enjoy our drinks first since we weren’t starving. She then warned us that we were not allowed to stay more than 1.5 hours because they want to rotate the tables given it gets busy. Both my friend and I are foodies and we’ve been too many rooftop terraces and restaurants and unless your website specifies it or the restaurant has 2 seatings you cannot say that to customers. When we ordered our last dish, she even told us last call and our bill was over 200$. It’s not about the rotation of tables it’s about how much the customer spends, and when we complained to the manager Charles, he was very kind and understanding and generous and offered us free drinks, but we were done for the evening. It wasn’t about the money, it was about teaching staff proper etiquette in a restaurant and not rush your customers. Besides her poor attitude, the place is really nice and the food was really good.
Great atmosphere! I really enjoyed the octopus and tartar however I wouldn’t recommend the burger, I found the texture and flavour palette was a little strange. The service was good but very slow. Overall I would say it was a fun time but not a “need to go” in MTL!
