We were a group of four in town for the annual tennis tournament. I made a reservation earlier in the day for that evening with no problem. We were greeted and seated in a timely manner. The two staff were attentive and kind allowing us to take our time and not once did we feel rushed. The appetizers were fantastic. My husband and I shared the zucchini blossoms and the other couple shared the burrata. We asked Marcello for wine suggestions and we all enjoyed what came to the table. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our mains as well. I personally can't not order a risotto when I come to Bis and this time it was the scallop and shrimp option. Délicieux! We do try to come to Bis when we are in town for the NBO tennis and we've never regretted that! It also happened to be my husband and my 20th wedding anniversary, so it made it that much better (we didn't make that known.) All in all, we had a wonderful meal with fantastic service. Thank you for another lovely evening. Hope to see you again in Aug 2027. Until then.
Nice Italian restaurant that has very predictable good cuisine for the last 20 years that we’ve been coming here Pato and paloma are very gracious and knowledgeable The ideal parking spot is just next door in the Novotel hotel across the street The coteletta Milanase , different pastas and the minestrone soup are all excellent
We had a delicious meal and wonderful service from Partha. Great wine recommendation and food was amazing. We had seafood risotto, veal and carbonara. Would highly recommend for authentic Italian.
We had reservations here from a suggestion from a good friend. It really hit the mark! The meatball “amuse bouche” could be skipped. If i were to suggest something, make meatballs from the house lamb ragu, that would be a much bigger hit. It’s also a taste of your signature dish, should the table want to order it later. All of our dishes were great. Two of the four of us opted for the duck special, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The other two got the lamb ragu dish, which they loved too. Desserts were good as well. Shared the profiteroles and the crime brûlée.
First visit. Will def return. Visiting Montreal for the weekend from Ontario. Made a reservation (preferred). Our server, Paloma, was exceptional. Attentive, friendly and professional. (And we were offered to taste the wine we selected to ensure we liked it) We were not rushed,.which was appreciated. Loved that they poured the olive oil/balsamic at our table) The food was amazing - fresh, authentic Italian. Portions were larger than we expected. I had gnocchi and husband had pork cheek carbonara. The mini meatballs (complimentary) were delicious. Great ambiance, low lighting and music in.the background - not loud. Perfect for a date night. Thank you! 😁
