Upon entry, the place looks very nice. I love all the little pigs above head. Brunch food was delicious. My little ick was the bread that the serve for the eggs. They gave us 2 little breads when we have 2 to 3 eggs each. So we ordered more bread and for 2 more breads it was 4$.
Went there for brunch. The place is beautiful and clean, lots of space. Service was excellent. We stayed there to chit chat and had a couple of coffee refills. The food was just ok, nothing special. But their menu has a lot of choices, something for everyone. They even had duck and black pudding, not something we see on brunch menus. Good place to try if you are in the downtown area.
Great ambience and service. The food is very good, and the chai latte is one of the best I've had in years. A bit on the expensive side, though. Caution: the Charlevoix cheese is only flr the courageous. It's very strong-flavoured!
My rating is 5 out of 5 considering the price, service, and location. Le Cochon Dingue offers a dining experience that sits comfortably between fine dining and a fast-food vibe. The atmosphere feels lively yet still maintains a touch of elegance. The restaurant is spacious and can accommodate a huge number of guests. Even though it was quite busy during our visit, the staff handled everything efficiently. They remained attentive to our needs throughout the meal. The servers were also consistently friendly and smiling. There are several menu options to choose from, catering to different tastes. Despite the crowd, the serving time was reasonably quick. Overall, it was a satisfying experience that delivered great value for money.
We came here when we saw photos of their burgers on Google Maps after a long day touring around downtown Montréal. When we saw the actual menu, we ordered different dishes instead. We started with the Assiette Dingue à partager and it was devoured in less than a minute. All of it were really good especially with a touch of their apple chutney. Delicious! We had the Pâté chinois de luxe à la joue de boeuf confite et Côtes levées de porc du Québec. The Pâté chinois had the most tender beef that just melts in your mouth better than any of the tender beef dinners we’ve had in our lives. The pork chop was so tender, juicy, flavorful, and so well balanced with all the elements on the plate. Everything was so good this was the first time I had to look up how to nominate a restaurant for a Michelin Star. I have never even written a review this thorough and long. 😂My husband and I travelled to so many countries all over the world, dined at so many spectacular dining places we could, but we both can say this restaurant is definitely our number one. 🥹 I can’t wait to go back to Montreal and dine here again.
