The pasta is amazing I got the lemon special and it was deliciously sour and creamy. The bacon Parmesan is also a solid 10/10, especially with the chilli flakes they offer. The portion sizes are pretty big for a 20$ bowl of pasta, I got to eat two meals out of it. + Their water is always refreshing and they do this very cute thing where they write a « Merci :) » on every takeout bag.
I had a really nice dinner experience at Lulu’s on Ontario Street. The place itself is very cute and beautifully decorated, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and managed to prepare a table for five within just a few minutes, which was really appreciated. The tables and the restaurant itself were also very clean. The service was good. I ordered the Poulet Estragon and the portion was very generous. It was served in a paper cup, topped with cheese and parsley. The pasta tasted fresh, and the chicken was really well cooked, tender, and flavorful. The sauce was also very good, although personally, I would have preferred a little more of it, as the pasta felt slightly dry. An extra spoonful of sauce would have made it perfect. Overall, the prices are very affordable, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is really pleasant. Recommended !
My toddler wanted macaroni and cheese and this place was recommend to us. They were able to adjust the pasta to match Mac and cheese. Customer service was good but a bit slow. We waited quite a while and price was a little high for just plain pasta and cheese. They had halal options which was great.
Great tasting pasta! They have premade options or you can create your own. Fresh tasty pasty! I had the casarecce with the bacon pepe and it was soooooo good! Highly recommend this place! Might be pricey for pasta, but portions are really filling! They make homemade pasta and everything is to order! We came from the south shore to montreal just to have these and they are worth it! They should open a restaurant on the south shore!!
Bar à Pâtes Lulu's Quartier Latin is a great spot for a quick meal and tasty pasta in downtown Montréal. Served in their fun signature buckets, there are plenty of pasta types and sauce options to choose from. The space was clean, modern, and well decorated, and during summer there are outdoor tables perfect for enjoying the atmosphere of Saint-Denis Street. It’s also an easy grab-and-go option for a picnic, takeout, or a casual meal between exploring the Quartier Latin, nearby cinemas, and theaters. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.
