Beautiful, affordable and absolutely delicious! Tried testing menu. #1 the ramen salad is absolutely delicious!
Guys. Y’all would never believe the experience I just had. You enter the establishment greeted by duality. Internal vs external. Which one will you choose? The inside ambiance is one who doesn’t need a lot of word to be described. It is sublimely comfortable, infinitely comforting, and vibrant. Vibrant to the sound of the music, the sound of the place des festivals, the sound of the joyous conversation happening all around. Quite the experience. And then you have the outside, where the line between community and business is blurred. You’re welcomed in an intimate yet open space, where every spoken word feels like a different star, and the constellation is our job to draw. None of this would be as exquisite if it wasn’t for the incredible staff. Manu made me laugh till I cramped,Ivy impressed me with her impeccable wits, and Mike gave the type of smile that makes you feel like… well it’s gonna be alright. Rare are the space where you feel not only at home, but invited. So, if you have, let’s say, a wedding, a funeral, a bachelor party, or you have to give birth, why not try this place? Ciao!
One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been to in Montreal. Amazing service (shutout to Mike he was great), delicious food served at perfect temperature, good prices for downtown. Nice for friend groups and dates, loved the atmosphere. I will definitely go there again 💛
I went to Biiru during my trip to Montreal because my friend suggested the place. She’s been there a couple of times before and liked the food so she wanted me to try it to while we’re in town. It was a Thursday night and we tried to get a last minute reservation online but there’s no table available for 7:30 pm on the system. But we did get lucky with walk-in though because they actually have a table available for us at the outdoor area. We decided to order a bunch of dishes to share between the two of us and here are some of my favorites from our meal: 🍵 Matcha Matcha • 8/10 I ordered the Matcha Matcha mocktail. Nice matcha, not too strong, not too bitter, not too sweet. It has a nice earthy taste. 🍽️ Korn Korokke • 7.5/10 The croquettes were nicely fried and the curry wasn’t too strong. 🥟 Pork Gyoza • 8/10 Great pork gyoza. The gyoza skin wasn’t too thick and the pork was flavorful. 🍽️ Kaisen Don • 8/10 The Kaisen Don was pretty good. It tasted fresh and and light. All and all, although I liked some of the dishes better than the others, the food overall was pretty good for a modern Japanese fusion izakaya spot. Service was great and the staff who waited our table was nice. The noise level at this place was pretty high since it is a drinking place. If you’re looking for a good Japanese fusion izakaya spot with great drinks menu and lively atmosphere in Montreal, this place is worth to try.
What an amazing restaurant! We ordered 6 dishes and every single one was excellent. Truly recommend! A special thanks to the manager who got us a last-minute table and was so kind.
