Depart from Montreal at 10:00am and begin our Sweet Journey for the day!
Historically, sugar shacks were developed through a combination of Native American and European innovations. Till now, it is still a primarily family-related cottage industry in Quebec.
We will visit one of the most popular Sugar Shacks Cabin-Chez Dany.
Chez Dany shows a country scenery full of charm and offers a sweet traditional French-Canadian style meal, almost every dish is bathed in maple syrup: ham, baked beans, sausages, eggs, and pancakes.
Enjoy their hospitality and conviviality with the delicious food and the beautiful Quebec's traditional music!
After the meal, take a Maple taffy as your dessert. Maple taffy is a sugar candy made by boiling maple sap past the point where it would form maple syrup, but not so long that it becomes maple butter or maple sugar. It is part of traditional culture in Quebec, Eastern Ontario, New Brunswick and northern New England.
Leave around 2:30pm, and arrive Montreal around 4:00pm.
